This magical fast epoxy is called ER1005 and it is perfect for bonding, potting or tacking almost anything!  ER1005 has a convenient 1:1 mix ratio and cures in about five minutes or so.   All you have to do is dispense equal volumes of Part A and Part B, mix well, then apply.

Sculpting a masterpiece is an off label* option for Star balancing compound, but most use this two part epoxy for balancing armatures on an electric motors.  Star Technology’s balancing compound is one of our best sellers and can be found in almost any motor shop.  The two part epoxy is color coded blue and yellow which changes to a bright green when fully mixed and is ready to be used.

As a formulator and manufacturer of adhesives, we don’t balance many motors here at Star Technology, but we have found many off label* uses for balancing compound.  Just the other day, someone drove a fork truck through the side of a new drum full of liquid.  A quick mix and twenty minutes later the drum was bandaged up with green putty and is no longer leaking goo onto our shiny floor.

Flex Seal Extreme is as awesome as the name implies.  It is a super flexible epoxy hybrid that is tougher than that mean kid that stole your lunch money in school.  This extreme epoxy was designed for potting applications, but the uses are endless.

Here is a true story to entice your tasted buds…I live in a concrete house; yes I know that’s weird.  Our front porch is a concrete slab over a basement and over time the concrete has cracked, leaving a two inch crack for water to drain into my basement.  I took home some Flex Seal “Extreme” and used this to fill the crack.  This was the perfect quick fix and no more leaks!

One year later, its time for a real repair –not just an epoxy quick fix.  The Flex Seal “Extreme” stuck so well to the concrete that neither my massive muscles nor the massive muscles of my fiancée could pull off the cured epoxy.  It was EXTREME!

The best part about Star Technology’s ST-36-2 is that it is DOT NON-corrosive, saving you tons and avoiding those ridiculous hazardous shipping charges.  Do your best to try and remember ST-36-2.
